Customer Reviews Cnu Said: Not for a 2 year old ( Nov. 20th 2009 )My son was excited to see his new toy but that lasted for less than an hour. He didn't like it much as he heard the music and songs from many other toys. In my experience this is not for a 2 year old.nm Said: fantastic toy ( Oct. 5th 2009 )The fridge dj we have is 5 years old and still working. My two girls used it and LOVED it. Now my son, who is almost 1 year old, plays with it. I've bought it for gifts because every kid who comes to my house loves to play with it. Besides the FUN factor, it is very educational. I highly recommend!Mercedes L. Johnmeyer Said: Does Not Play Full Songs, I've Tried Everything!... ( Aug. 15th 2009 )Thank goodness this was a gift because I'd be very annoyed at having paid for this. Before I started this review, I checked to see if other people had my problem, a few did, and some said you need to pull the tab in the back or change the batteries. I've done those things, it STILL will not play an entire song. Every song fades away after about 5 seconds. It's a shame cause my son (1½ old) loves this thing. We've had it about 6 months, but he's just recently started carrying it all over the place. The major downside is he has to continuously press the button to get the songs to play since they fade away so quickly. I've checked the back thinking maybe there was a switch that said 'Demo-mode', or maybe a tab that I missed...nope. Maybe I just got a lemon, which is a bummer since he seems to like it, but I just can not give this toy a good rating based on my experience with it.Robyn 808 Said: Great toy! ( Jul. 31st 2009 )I gave as gift. My friend said her little girl couldn't get enough.... LOVED It!!!kb-hunter Said: You don't *have* to put it on the Fridge ( Jul. 6th 2009 )We got this as a present for my son's first birth day and he is 33 months old now. There has not been a day he has not played with this toy. I thought it was a little big to put it on the Fridge. Also, it's kind of crazy to stick this on the fridge... in any case we don't let our one year old open or close the fridge. I was a bit amused when I found a reviewer complaining that his fridge got scratched. I found a cabinet that is within easy reach of my son when he is eating his dinner on his high chair. I used the handle to affix it to the cabinet knob permanently. I had to use an extra long cabinet screw to do this. And so it has been for the past year and half. He ritualistically plays the songs when he eats his dinner to this day and he has become quite a pro at being a DJ. One of the best toys I have owned/used.« Back |
